I wouldn't be too upset if we lost out on re-signing RNH if the Wild got him. That being said i wouldn't wanna see someone cripple their cap space on the guy

I certainly hope that the Wild don't give up future assets for a No. 1 center like Eichel or RNH, I do love the Idea though of Guerin snagging Phillip Danault In free agency If the finances are available I'd give Danault 3.5 per for 3 seasons making him around 32 years old at the end of the deal.

Considering the current financial climate of the NHL I don't think that the Danault offer would be reckless or out of line.

3.5 for 3 years isn't too bad for a center that has cracked 50pts once in his career, if his agent reacts that way there may not be a lot of teams wanting to talk to him. Guess time will tell.

Something to remember for the upcoming expansion draft, Wayne Gretzky played for two WHA teams and 4 NHL teams and he never won a cup after leaving Edmonton and the Oilers won a cup without him so NO player Is Irreplaceable and when or If the Wild lose a player remember that he Is replaceable and also when he leaves his contract goes with him.
